It's your family, your friends, and your special moments. As a documentary wedding and event photographer, my goal is to capture those unique moments as they unfold. This photojournalistic approach is unscripted, spontaneous, and reactive to your day. In both digital and film, I aim to be as invisible as possible, recording your story as honestly as I can, and exactly as you hope to remember it.
I don't aim for the clean and crisp, but often times the messy and candid. I capture the still and quiet moments, the funny and joy-filled times, or even the teary-eyed faces hiding in the crowed. Following your lead, I capture your story as your day unfolds.

Originally from the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, I have lived just south of the twin cities for the better part of the past ten years. Choosing to become a photographer was a choice I made to not only enjoy the art of storytelling through images, but to allow me the ability to slow down and be more present in the everyday. I didn't want to simply take pictures, I wanted to experience people, places, and moments in time. In my own life, my family and I have taken the time to be more intentional with one another, by taking the space to enjoy each others company, and find adventure in the mundane.
